Have you tried Quick Ball Pro yet?
Have you tried Quick Ball Pro yet, Today, I’ll delve into Quick Ball, a feature familiar to all Xiaomi users. However, if you’re new to this concept, this guide is tailored just for you.
Initially, I found Quick Ball a bit perplexing to use, so I hesitated to give it a try. But upon using it, I discovered its remarkable convenience and utility. Previously, Quick Ball served as a workaround for navigating back to the home screen on phones with non-functional bottom buttons due to damaged glass.
To enable Quick Ball, simply navigate to Settings >> Additional Settings >> Activate Quick Ball. Within this setting, you’ll find a plethora of customizable options.
Under “Select Shortcuts,” you’ll encounter various predefined shortcuts such as returning to the home screen, accessing the menu, locking the screen, taking screenshots, and navigating backward. If you prefer a more personalized experience, you can customize these shortcuts to include only the apps you frequently use.
The “Preferred Gesture” feature offers two options: Swipe and Tap. With Tap enabled, a single tap on the Quick Ball activates the designated shortcuts. Conversely, in Swipe mode, gestures are executed without directly tapping the Quick Ball. For instance, dragging the Quick Ball to the side turns off the screen, while pulling it up navigates back to the home screen.
The “Hide Automatically” option is particularly useful for gamers who wish to conceal the Quick Ball during gameplay. Additionally, you can configure Quick Ball to move to the edge after a period of inactivity or remain fixed in a corner.
Lastly, the “Show on Screen” setting enables the use of Quick Ball even when the screen is locked. And if you ever wish to revert to the default settings, simply click “Restore Default.”
Instead of resorting to third-party options like Easy Touch or Double Touch, I highly recommend leveraging the native Quick Ball feature found on Xiaomi and Redmi phones. It’s a versatile and intuitive solution for enhancing device navigation and accessibility.
